Our Founder's Story
I’m the founder of Advantage Drafting, a specialized shop drawing firm serving glazing contractors across the U.S. What started as a solo hustle has grown into a national operation supporting hundreds of projects and clients—built on one core idea: make shop drawings fast, reliable, and hassle-free.
I didn’t take the straight path here. I learned business the hard way—on the ground, running glazing jobs, dealing with unexpected supplier costs, managing crews, and losing sleep (and money) on projects that went sideways. Those weren’t failures. They were tuition. And what I learned gave me the insight to build a business that actually solves real problems contractors face—because I’ve been that contractor.
Since 2018, I’ve turned Advantage Drafting from a side hustle into a focused, system-driven company. I’ve gone all-in, built a team, created replicable processes, and committed to one thing: being the best in our space. No fluff. No gimmicks. Just reliable shop drawings made easy.
